I am a board-experienced senior manager for a residential childcare company. I have almost twenty-five years' experience supporting and leading trauma-informed services for children with a range of complexities including sexually harmful behaviours,  SEMH, learning differences, autism, CSE, CCE and EBD.
I have held a number of operational and strategic roles, including supporting with and leading business development and growth, staff management, at individual and national level. I am experienced in managing multi-site services over wide geographical areas, leading on quality, compliance and governance in line with legislative and regulatory frameworks in both England (Ofsted) and Wales (CIW). I am also trained and experienced in safeguarding at many levels, across both frameworks. 

I've always had an interest in fiction, both reading and writing, and have maintained a side career as a fiction author. I've been published in several magazines and anthologies. Links to my fiction and non-fiction can be found above.
